Medium-sized, globally successful and already in the third generation – that’s who we are.
We are GC-heat.
At our headquarters in Waldbröl, Germany, we’ve been developing and manufacturing innovative and high quality products for our customers for more than 70 years. Of course our employees are playing the key role in this. Every day, they strive to provide you with the best solution possible.
The highest degree. That’s what we have committed ourselves to. That’s the way we have become one of the leading manufacturers of industrial electric heating elements in Europe.
As one of Europe’s leading specialists in the production of electric heating elements we proudly look back on a long history of over seven decades as an owner-managed medium-sized business.
With our broad range of products from delicate tool and mould heating systems to powerful heating elements for liquid and gaseous heating we are highly familiar with most use cases for industrial heating.
In search of the perfect heating solutions for our customers we put 100% of the expertise, experience and development skills built up by the knowledgeable staff at our Waldbröl site into the manufacturing of high-quality heating products to suit individual requirements. For the highest degree of quality – made in Germany.
If you would like to learn more about how we apply our value culture in our daily work and our interactions with customers, suppliers and employees, we will be happy to explain by means of our partnership continuum.
The GC-heat management team has developed the partnership continuum framework in order to visualise the guiding principles we aspire to follow in our interactions with people within and outside our company. We held numerous workshops with our entire staff to define these attributes for ourselves, filling them with life.
Partnership was and remains our most important pillar. We aim to achieve long-term success by interacting fairly, openly and collaboratively.
Our partners are customers, suppliers and colleagues. We strive to establish long-term and sustainable partnerships, and want to meet others as equals and communicate openly. Partnerships benefit everyone involved; they foster trust, provide stability and promote growth.
What continuity means for us is consistency, sustainability and clear focus. Only if we continuously pursue our interests, question our actions and meet our challenges can we be successful.
We want to do outstanding work in order to be among the best. To permanently follow the path to excellence is our goal. Excellence is never “done”. We value the mindset of aspiring to perform exceptionally even in the face of difficulty and thereby set ourselves apart.
We want to offer the best solutions in terms of products, services and processes.
We are a community. Each of us understands their role and their duties. Each of us lives up to their responsibilities. We help and support each other. Each of us contributes their strengths. We work together and for each other, never against each other. We do not think in terms of individual remits, but instead focus on the common goal. As a whole we are stronger than the sum of our parts.
Individuality demands flexibility of us and enriches us, it brings us a range of strengths, opportunities and challenges. One of our distinctive abilities lies in fulfilling special customer requests.
We find these by making room for new and different ideas. We seek ways to improve, and view challenges as opportunities to deliver unprecedented solutions, to innovate. We want to be at the forefront of development.
Facing new challenges and situations every day, we respond quickly and straightforwardly.
We want to energise others. Our passion engenders an ambition to sustainably pursue our goals, to seek out competition. Our passion is the answer to the question “why” and provides meaning. It creates commonality, makes us stronger as a team and allows us to achieve our intended goals.
We live up to the trust placed in us and thereby create a basis for delegating or taking on responsibility. Delegating creates efficiency. Trust makes monitoring expendable.
Each of us works independently. When we transfer responsibility, we provide leeway to make independent decisions and live up to that responsibility. This latitude builds confidence and makes us stronger collaborators, but it is also an obligation.
We see mistakes as opportunities to improve and learn. If something goes wrong, we admit to our mistakes, learn from them and do what we can to limit the damage.
